I've been working pretty hard at improving my speaking skills over the past 7 weeks or so. I am happy to say that I seem to be getting the hang of things. The shadowing exercises are going well, especially when I can do it on something I'm watching. From here on out, however, I really need to speed up the process of translating what I want to say into something I can say. This would mexan less pauses in my speaking, and It would sound more natural. After football season, I will be able to attend the language tables, where I will be able to work on this more.
Keeping with tradition...
This post is in English, so here's a song in English. Gareth Emery ft. Christina Novelli - Concrete Angel
Just for kicks, it is コンクリート天使 in Japanese (konkurito tenshi)
The thing I need to work the on is my pitch. I can never seem to get it 100% accurate. In order to get this corrected, I plan to shadow a little bit for every anime episode I watch, and I watch a lot of anime (because who studies anyway...). Speaking along with natives in situations with complex grammar and vocabulary will hopefully allow me to better my pitch and learn some new things along the way.
HERE IS ANOTHER SONG ^-^
This is actually my favorite song by my favorite band: ガリレオガリレイ - 「青い栞」
Galileo Galilei - Aoi Shiori (Blue Bookmark)
It's the opening to Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day. My Absolute favorite.
As I mentioned before, I really like Japanese music. So I will probably post one at the bottom of every post I make. This is called テノヒラ (Tenohira) by HERO.
